Terms of service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you use GPU Zero: the console at console.gpuzero.dev and the service behind it. GPU Zero is provided by Jonathan Vecchione (Italy). By signing in you accept them; if you do not, do not use the service.

The service

GPU Zero starts GPUs on a cloud you connect when there is a job, runs your training there, records its metrics, checkpoints and logs, and stops the GPUs when the work or the budget is done. It is free of charge. It is under active development: features change, and it may be unavailable at times.

Your cloud, your costs

The GPUs, storage and network your jobs use are billed to you by your cloud provider, under that provider's terms. GPU Zero applies the spending limits and idle timeouts you set, but cannot guarantee them: a provider may bill time that GPU Zero did not see, or fail to stop a machine when asked. Check your provider's billing, and set limits there too.

Your account and your content

Acceptable use

Do not use GPU Zero to:

We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

Open source

The training runtime, checkpoint engine and agent GPU Zero uses (ravex, moonclip and smith) are open source, under the licences in their repositories. These terms do not limit what those licences allow.

Warranty and liability

GPU Zero is provided as it is, free of charge, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost training time or charges from your providers. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights a consumer has by law.

Ending

You can stop using GPU Zero at any time and ask us to delete your account at vecchionejonathan@gmail.com. We may end the service, telling active users by email at least 30 days before, so you can move your data.

Changes, law and disputes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and we tell you by email about changes that matter. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you live is competent, and you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence. Questions: vecchionejonathan@gmail.com.
